School at St. George Place Elementary: Finished Pottery Pieces

Here are photos of finished pottery pieces we have been working on! The pre-K through second grade created pinch pots. Third through fifth grade created animal pots.

The pots all uniquely display interesting variations in texture and glazing. The students were encouraged to glaze their pieces in ways that may or may not involve one solid color. Some suggestions the students came up with: hot/cool colors, one color of glaze inside and a different one outside, with patterns of color, or with shapes. Each student decorated their pot in their own individual way. The diversity of color and texture is awesome!
